NI-NL looks forward to its final event of 2006 - a VIP package to the Coors Belfast Giants (the Elite League Champions for the 2005-06 season) vs Basingstoke Bison.
Albert Maasland is delighted to meet and address NI-NL companies on 16th November in the Millenium Room at the Odyssey prior to the Basingstoke Bisons Game. Please mark this in your diary from 5pm.
Albert Maasland combines his role of Senior Business Manager at Standard Chartered Bank with his ownership and Chairmanship of the Coors Belfast Giants. Albert is a well known figure in the international financial markets having held senior positions with Chase Manhattan Bank, HSBC and Deutsche Bank prior to his current role. Dutch born, he moved back to Europe from Canada in 1983, after graduating from the University of Toronto, where he played college ice hockey.
Albert will give an insight as to why he decided to set up an ice hockey team based in Belfast, some of the challenges and hurdles that they faced in the start up phase (and still today!) and some thoughts about doing business in Northern Ireland as a non native.
The Belfast Giants are kindly providing a VIP package for a maximum of 40 NI-NL companies for the match.
